The Miami Jewish Film Festival is proud to present in partnership with Temple Moses the documentary film screening of CUBA MIA by Rhonda Mitrani.
Local artist and Cuba Mia film director Rhonda Mitrani will host the night, with a post-film panel discussion. Panelist include members of the film and the Director of Cuban Studies of the University of Miami, Professor Jaime Suchlicki.
"It is timely for this film to be invited by the MJFF for a special screening because of the new relaxed sanctions pronounced by President Obama last December 17th. It will also be a great opportunity to discuss the Cuban Jewish diaspora, then and now", states Mitrani.
